Children, regardless of athletic ability or size, can benefit from yoga. Learning yoga through play and imagination, stories, songs, and games allow children to explore simple relaxation and meditation exercises. Yoga becomes a playful and enjoyable experience. The poses and games used in children's yoga is modified for each individual's capabilities and strengths. Children will create, play, explore, and imagine their world in a place tailored especially for them. A snack will be served.
Parents can use this time to start their holiday shopping. The Center will be open this Saturday morning at 9:00am, so stop by and grab a cup of organic coffee or tea, and do some shopping.

Henna Painting
Henna Artist Priti Jain
Priti is an artist and graphic designer with a degree in Fine Arts. She has been surrounded by mystical, sacred and intricate art from early childhood in India. Since then, she has been practcing the art of henna in festivals, weddings and events. Her hand drawn designs are inspired by the art of India, allowing her to create something unique for everyone. From traditional to fanciful and contemporary, her designs allow you to express yourself.
Priti uses pure natural henna imprted from Rajasthan, India. She makes her own henna paste from natural ingredients like lemon juice, sugar and essential oils. Her products contain no chemical dyes, preservatives or additives and are safe for use during pregnancy and with children.
The henna plant is one of the oldest cosmetics used and is extremely safe. The application, called Mehendi, of henna paste can be relaxing and enjoyable. Mehendi has been used for its moisturizing and sun protecting properties, as well as its ability to transform the skin with red patterns. Mehendi is considered to ward off evil, protect from the evil eye and impart good luck.

Parking Information
The University City Police are ticketing cars parked at the meters on North & South between the hours of 7:00-9:00 a.m. and 4:00-6:00 p.m. North & South will be a two lane road during rush hour while Highway 40 is being rebuilt. There is parking on Gannon, Delmar and behind The Center in the upper lot bordered by the railroad ties. Please DO NOT park on the lot directly east of The Center. Parking after 5:00 p.m. at Royal Banks is also an option.
