Making Sense of Scents
Risha Vaughan can personalize a custom blend of scented oils for your specific needs.
What is aromatherapy?
Aromatherapy is a complimentary therapy for mind, body and spirit. It is based on holistic principles rooted in the use of 100% Pure Essential Oils then combined with other raw materials to create a custom blend. Pure Essential Oils are extracted or distilled from various parts of a particular plant for aromatic and healing properties.
How does it work?
The active constituents found in each oil are naturally voilitile allowing absorbtion into the bloodstream through our sense of smell. These constituents are chemical components that give the oil its specific, unique range of action as well as possessing medicinal qualities individually or synergistically (blend).
A Pure Essential Oil may consist of hundreds of individual biochemical components. Each oil possesses specific characteristics and properties that directly relate to molecular structure. The properties and effects of the whole essential oil are the sum of these molecular components. Using with professional massage has been found to be very beneficial.
Why should I consult?
Consultation holds the focus to educate you personally on the applications and uses of Aromatherapy. Determining the proper application for you personally may be based on environment, preference, and preferred sense of smell.
Aromatherapy includes healthy life choices supporting an organic diet to empower optimal lifestyle.
Aromatherapy: Risha Hoffman
Use the healing properties of plants, in distilled form, to connect to physical, mental, emotional and spiritual conditions and bring them back into harmony. Aromatherapy is especially helpful for conditions such as grief and insomnia, and to meet more subtle goals such as safely opening the heart or shifting from a sense of victimhood to spiritual resilience. Combine with massage and a hot compress for a deeply relaxing, multi-sensory and nurturing experience or take home a custom blend for use during the day or night.
